ANNOUNCEMENTS:
2010 will be a great year in Arcadia Valley!
Announcement!
Welcome!
Spring of 2010 is already here and with some great events happening in
Arcadia Valley this year, it promises to be an exciting one. As always, there
is much to be done. We are trying to continue to increase tourism and promote
our businesses, but we need your help. If you are not a member of the AV
Chamber of Commerce, we are inviting you to join our organization.
My wish for this exciting year is for the community to come together to help
promote our beautiful area by telling family and friends about the upcoming
events in the wonderful place we work and play. We have a part-time volunteer director who is handling some of the duties of a chamber of commerce office,
but with limited time on her part and the officers and directors, we still need
volunteers to help further our chamber goals.
Some of the events for 2010 will include the Spring and Fall Mountain Music
Festivals to be held May 14, 15 & 16 and October 16 & 17. Also, our annual
Fourth of July celebration will be held at Fort Davidson Historic Site on Sunday
with live music and fireworks. The annual IPHA sanctioned rodeo will be take
place on August 20 & 21. On September 25 & 26, we will be hosting the
tri-annual Battle of Pilot Knob Reenactment. Again, the chamber will sponsor
the Christmas lighting contest, the Christmas in the Valley and Christmas parade.
A membership application/renewal application, and/or an advertising order form
for www.arcadiavalley.biz is on our website, as well as a list of the 2010
Arcadia Valley Chamber of Commerce Officers and Directors. If you have
not already done so, please take the time to complete your application and send
it in. For those of you who are members, we thank you for your support and
appreciate you very much.
