Come One, Come All!  Join us as we celebrate the season in Arcadia Valley, November 23rd & 24th This year's theme:  "An Old Fashioned Christmas" Friday evening we'll kick off the celebration! 5pm to 8pm ~ Lighting of the Courthouse at 5pm! ~ Main Street in Ironton will host an Open House in participating retail stores Enjoy special sales and treats! ~ Bert’s Corner Antiques and Gifts has arranged Carriage Rides for $1.00 ~ Enjoy caroling and celebrate in Pocket Park on Main Street. ~Afterwards join “A Gathering” on the City Parking lot in downtown Ironton and enjoy caroling, refreshments and lots of fun. Pictures can be taken with “special” Christmas characters at the event. ~  Lynn’s Photography will be taking pictures of children with Santa Saturday ~ Santa, Frosty and Rudolph Arrive!  Craft & Gift Show, Parade, & Bob Hope Style Christmas Show Everything starts at 8am! ~ Enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast from 8am through 10:30 am with Rudolph and Frosty the Snowman. Free pictures will be taken of all children with Frosty and Rudolph. ~ “Open House” at the Arcadia Valley Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center and Iron County Historical Society Museum from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Free Christmas cookies and hot cider will be served. ~ Christmas Craft and Gift Show in the Arcadia Academy Gymnasium from 4:00 p.m. through the end of the Christmas Show. ~ At 4:30 p.m. the Christmas parade will line up behind Town and Country Grocery on Shepherd St. ~ 5 pm Annual Christmas Parade Begins! ~ Parade will begin at 5:00 p.m. and will travel down Main Street from North Ironton to Maple Street in Arcadia, then to College ~ Immediately following the parade, a Special Celebration with a “Bob Hope Style White Christmas” music show will be held at the Arcadia Academy Gymnasium. Refreshments including hot chocolate, coffee and cookies will be served. ~ “Santa” visits with photo opportunities by Lynn’s Photography will be held after the parade in the Arcadia Academy Gymnasium. __________________________________ *Floats will be in a contest for 200.00, 100.00 and 50.00.   Download the Float Application form here.
